An opinion about the previous Reporter's Sketch, 'The precious teaching, Sinchoun'

Aside from my opinion, I would thank you for providing good information and widening readers' views of communities and their problems. As a college student, I think it is necessary to see and listen to what's happening in my neighborhood. In order to move forward, we should express our opinions and think about some solutions.

In this context, 'The KNU Times' has been performing a pivotal role in this university for many college students having a clear consciousness

Proceeding to the main issue, I would say that I am an organism with having a concern about Sinchoun, because I usually spend my leisure time practicing jogging to improve my health there, along the riverside park and road.  In the section of 'Reporter's sketch', Kim, Bo-young, the reporter, said "Sinchoun has been rehabilitated from severe pollution." YES!  It is an undeniable fact for most people living in Daegu.  However, in the fact of not being a pessimist, I would like to point some problems.

Whenever I go to Sinchoun to run and take a rest, I witness some bad sights. The main problem is that lots of people still tend to cast away their waste into the water and leave, liquor bottles and food remains on the lawns and fields! I know that a good sum of money was put into the project, 'Recovering Sinchoun.' The way to spend the money meaningfully is to change our awareness of our surroundings.

Lastly, I want 'The KNU Times' to continue to raise important questions about our communities and the people in them.  Looking forward to your meaningful articles, I wish for the prosperity of your organization.

I am impressed with abundant information that The KNU Times has. Also, all these categorized articles help readers to look through easily. I do not want to save my compliments on this. However, I would like to point out one thing. One of the articles in the Society part, "Sweat after bitter". The article was good, but it was not up-to-date writing. It said that Seoul Nation University was not included in Top 100 universities, but it is not. Maybe the writer knows it already. The writer might not change it, because it is already on the internet. However, it is right to be replaced to a new one or changed one even the reporter has to take a risk. Newspaper is the fattest information network, and I think The KNU Times should be, too.

I was surprised that KNU has an English newspaper and surprised again that it is not paper. Then I thought that it might be difficult to read articles written in English, especially, on the internet. However, it is not true. The articles written about society can be very formal and difficult, but The KNU Times make them easier by using easy and friendly words, and they have also good and valuable information. I wish The KNU Times wouldl be known to more people. I think many people may be afraid of it like me, because it is written in English. I am sure that if people once read articles, they will be regular readers of The KNU Times.
